Meet Dana Johnson
Designing spaces that feel
like you.
Design is more than choosing beautiful furniture or finding the
perfect color. It is about understanding the people who live there
and creating a home that tells their story.
01 / WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
A little bit of
New Orleans.
Originally from New Orleans, I grew up surrounded by the rich
design history of the area. The unique lines, colors, textures,
and architecture undoubtedly influenced my decision to become
an Interior Designer.
Can you imagine New Orleans without the incredible architecture
and unmistakable style of the French Quarter? Of course not.
That is what makes the city so unique.
Well, that and the food, of course! Cooking has always been my
second love, right behind design.
“
Every home should tell the story of the people who live there.
I love working with different people and helping each one create a
space that reflects their personal style, values, culture, and the
things they love.
02 / THE JOURNEY
From furniture to
making houses homes.
After earning my degree in Industrial Design from the University
of Louisiana at Lafayette, I began designing furniture for a
local retailer.
That is where my love for furniture lines, fabrics, and color
really blossomed. I was exposed to products from all over the
world and became inspired to create pieces that felt special and
thoughtfully designed around each client's needs.
Eventually, I realized where my true passion lived: working
one-on-one with clients and helping transform their house into
a home.
My Design Philosophy
Beautiful design should be...
“
The best spaces are designed around real life.
I am a wife to my husband, Monty, of 15 years and a mom to our two
daughters, Marley and Eden. Outside of design, I love family time,
reggae music, traveling, and cooking.
It Is All About You
Your home should be a reflection of
you.
For more than 16 years, I have had the privilege of helping clients
create beautiful, personalized spaces that truly feel like home.
My dedication to every project remains the same, whether the project
is large or small. I love seeing a client's reaction during the
“Big Reveal” after installing the room of their dreams.
Your home is a personal reflection of YOU, not me. That is why I
spend time getting to know you, understanding your lifestyle, and
addressing what you truly need in your home.
Because at the end of the day, it is all about YOU.
